What is your availability?
Lessons are available on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays with some additional flexibility where needed. I can do lessons online or face to face in the Winchester area. Please contact me to discuss specific lesson times. Over my years of teaching I have developed flexibility of approach and teaching style because I have found my students are more successful and feel more confident in their ability to achieve improved grades in their exams.
Is there a minimum commitment of lessons?
You can book as many lessons as you wish. Lessons are usually held on a weekly basis. I can usually give some guidance on how many lessons may be required based on my teaching knowledge and experience, this does of course depend on the goals of the student.
Do you teach lessons online and how does it work?
Lessons are available online via zoom and google classroom. I have successfully taught many students online and provide my terms and conditions for online lessons as part of my response to enquiries.
How long have you been a teacher and what qualifications do you have?
I have been awarded a BA Honours French and German from Exeter University, I studied a PGCE MFL at Portsmouth University and City and Guilds Adult Ed Certificate at Alton College. With over 13 years secondary teaching experience, Over the years I have continued to attend CPD events including those of AQA and Edexcel introducing the new GCSE specifications (2018 and 2024).
